A simple place to begin
InstantFork brings meal photos, manual food logging, daily nutrition totals, and hydration together. Start with a meal, review what you are saving, and return to a diary that keeps your day in view.

A meal photo is your starting point.Open the app and continue with Google to create a saved account diary. Your meals, goals, water entries, and recipe favorites can then load when you sign in on another device. A new account starts with an empty diary ready for your own entries.
Choose Explore the demo if you want to look around first. It includes sample meals and example scan and guide responses. Changes in the demo stay in that browser; they do not become entries in your signed-in diary.
Choose the diary day you want to log, then open Add meal. For a real AI scan, select a food photo and review the estimated foods, portions, calories, and macros. Adjust the serving or edit nutrition values, choose a meal category, and check the date before saving.
Add meal brings photo scanning, manual entry, USDA food lookup, and recent meals together. Enter values you know, or select a recent entry to log it again with the serving you ate. Review the new entry before saving it to the selected day.
Search USDA foods uses the April 2026 Foundation Foods snapshot. Match the food's preparation, enter grams of its edible portion, and review the scaled nutrition. Each result links to the USDA record. Missing core nutrition prevents lookup logging; missing fiber remains unrecorded.
Today shows a calorie goal ring with remaining calories, logged calories and your target, plus protein, carbs, and fat bars. Recent meals and water in 250 ml glasses stay on the same page. Use the week strip or date control to choose another diary day.
Open Food diary for the full list of entries, search, category filters, and meal editing or reuse. Progress charts the nutrient or water metric you select over a day, week, or month. Choose a day on the chart for its details and a link to its diary. These views reflect saved entries, so missing meals leave incomplete totals.
A dash on the chart means nothing was recorded, rather than zero intake. Averages use logged days, and the goal line uses your current saved goal. Open Understand these numbers for the averaging method, meal sources, and any missing fiber values. Saved meal details also reveal nutrition sources on demand.
Open Goals & account to set daily nutrition and water targets. Recipe examples and favorites give you meal ideas to revisit. When you want help with a selected day, choose Ask your diary in the Today or Food diary header to open the AI guide.
